A benefit for June Lake Arts

June Lake Jam Fest funds something bigger than a weekend.

Every ticket supports June Lake Arts — the Mono County 501(c)(3) that keeps arts and music education alive for kids who'd otherwise go without.

The mission

The Jam Fest helps fund the whole thing.

June Lake Arts funds arts and music education for Mono County youth, and brings music, art, and theater to a remote mountain community. The Jam Fest helps pay for it.

Where it goes

Your donation directly supports:

  • Jam Fest artists performing at school assemblies across Mono County
  • Arts programs for students, in collaboration with the Mono Arts Council
  • Musical equipment donated to school music programs
  • Music and art scholarships for local kids
Why I'm part of this
I've played June Lake Jam Fest for years and donated e-bikes to its raffle through my old company, eLux — and this year I'm helping out behind the scenes. It's all the same impulse. The music programs I grew up in taught me to reach past what I thought I could do, and to do it as a band, together. Those aren't just music lessons — they're how kids learn to collaborate, take risks, and build something bigger than themselves, and most of what I've built since traces straight back to them. Arts education has been under real pressure in this country, and I believe it's exactly what gives kids their best shot at the future. If it did that much for me, it's worth doing for them — and I hope you'll consider donating too.

Put live music in front of a kid who's never heard it.

Become a partner in the arts.

In Mono County's remote schools, many kids have little or no access to live music or the arts. Your gift changes that: it sends Jam Fest musicians into their classrooms, puts instruments in their hands, and funds the scholarships that keep them creating. June Lake Arts is a 501(c)(3) — every dollar is tax-deductible, and it goes to the kids and the community, not overhead.
